Mapping the relative risk of impact on nature by a human infrastructure at landscape scale (“sensitivity mapping”) is an essential tool for minimising future new development or prioritising mitigation existing impacts. High-voltage power lines (“transmission lines”) are known to increase bird mortality collision. Here we present method derive high resolution map transmission line impacts across one entire country, Belgium, from distribution data. First, all species observed in Belgium were systematically assessed using literature and casualty records select those be included sensitivity map.
